My friend Amanda asked me about taking their family photos for upcoming holiday cards, & we did these at the park this morning 🙂Â
I look forward to planning our Christmas cards all year, & it’s such a fun part of the holiday season.

Izabella is from Minnesota, not far from where I grew up 🙂 She wanted outdoor portraits, and since they’re having a real winter in Minnesota, she scheduled her senior session during spring break here in Florida.
We had a fun time shooting! She has the most genuine, beautiful smile (as you can see!)

This week I did my largest family photo session to date – 29 people! A couple and their 5 grown daughters who were in town from all over the country and world for Christmas, along with their husbands and 17 children (all but 3 of whom were under 8 years old!)
It was an energetic, fun time! I just love big families, and was so happy to be there for a little part of their holiday to make these photographs of their special time together.

I had the great pleasure of photographing the East family last night. They are such a beautiful family, but the nicest thing about them is they are the most loving people you can imagine.
Their love for their boys and for each other is so deep and sincere, it was an honor to capture a little piece of it in these photos.

This weekend I got to photograph 4-day-old baby Wes. He was so sweet and cooperative, and you can just see how much his family loves him.
I remember a time at the park last fall, when Leo was just a couple months old & I asked Joslyn to hold him for me for a little bit. Ella & Evie gathered around her admiring him, & Jos said to them “We need a baby brother, don’t we girls?”
I’m so happy that little Wes is here to complete your beautiful family!
